It is unfortunate that the NHS is under such stress and that raises the stress for nurses and doctors who are tired which then reflects on your care. I have never seen a hospital so busy and I can only assume it’s because the country is over populated and we do not have the infrastructure to support the number of people. It is not fair on NHS staff

Suggested improvements
We could have been kept informed of wait times for different tests instead of being told “hours” when asked. 4 times I had to check to see if my partners scan had been arranged and on the fourth time they confirmed it hadn’t been sent to the department. This was 12 hours after we had arrived. My partner has a brain injury which caused him to become very agitated.
