Whilst understanding they were busy, there were many times throughout the 11hrs we were there that I had questions or needed items (water/blankets) and had to ask repeatedly before getting them eventually. An EKG was lost and needed redoing.....we waited over an hr to be collected from CT scan and taken back to A&E and spent over 9hrs of the 11 on a trolley in a corridor. The only positive was the paramedics in the "cohort " who, rather than doing the role they should hve been doing and responding to emergency calls, were babysitting patients in corridors. They were excellent. Im immensely grateful for our NHS but also very worried for it....it appears broken and shambolic much of the time....no fault of the staff but it makes a tough job tougher I imagine

Suggested improvements
Better communication More privacy.....being in corridors for some I saw was extremely upsetting for them and provided no dignity
