I was left in the dark throughout my stay . I had to ask for nearly all the information I received and most of the people I asked for information either didn’t know the answer the question and then didn’t try to find an answer . I felt very isolated .
Suggested improvements
Simple , clear communication. Both , between staff and departments , but more importantly, patients . I felt extremely vulnerable throughout !
Even a member of my operating urology team wasn’t sure which kidney I was having problems with !! I told him it was my left , which he argued with until I told him how to read my CT scan . This saw my confidence in the whole system fail .
