16 hours in the evening raft unit, 5 hours before I got a name.badge and then i had to ask for it three times. nobody took bloods for five hours when it should have been done.asap after arrival by LAS. Nobody could explain why I had a chest x Ray for vertigo, not even the doctor who treated me. They failed to post my blood tests on the system according to the doctor. 15 hours and 50 mins to see the doctor which lasted for 10 minutes. Patients arriving with three adult relatives then pretending to be iller than they were to queue jump. The relatives then all laughed as they left. No food offered in 16 hours just cups of tea. I had medication to take but when I asked if I should take it nobody gave me an answer. The doctor I saw was compassionate and explained my problem and what to do about it. But it took nearly 16 hours for a 10 minute consultation. I saw a complete change of shift arrived at 17.30 and left at 10.00 hrs the next morning.

Suggested improvements
See all of the above in why I gave the answers I did. Keep track of patients , explain to patients why things were being done , monitor patients regularly. Supply some sort of food after 8 hours. Have more doctors. Allow only one relative per patient unless patient is likely to die.
