On 30th/31st of August I was lucky enough to be appointed Lauren Davies as my midwife. I ended up having a bit of a traumatic experience resulting in an emergency c section but my husband and I can not thank Lauren enough for her excellent care. Lauren was with us from 7.30pm to just after 6am when our son was born. Lauren was friendly, reassuring as well as professional and caring and helped us through each stage of labour. Lauren has a great personality and kept me entertained throughout each contraction by speaking to me. We had lots in common and had some great conversation which I'll never forget. Thank you Lauren for helping bring our baby boy safely into the world and keeping us calm and collected. You are a star! The Altmans x
