On arrival to the hospital (via ambulance) I was seen promptly by a doctor. During the initial assessment phase there was a lack of communication directly to myself on further diagnosis of my condition (prolonged chest pain). I was moved into a waiting area where blood was taken for test without no elaboration on what the tests were for. I was asked to venture to an area for a chest x-ray, again without elaboration on why this was being carried out. There was little direction on how to get to the facility and no information on where I should go after this procedure was carried out. After the x-ray I found my way back to the previous area, where I was asked to move to a new waiting area again without any elaboration. Whilst in the new area patients were in tears and in various levels of distress after being on-site for over 24hrs without any narrative. An individual beside me had the perception she was having a mini stroke and was calling out for aid, it took some time (possibly 10-15mins) before a doctor carried out an assesment. I was offered lunch, however was unsure if I was allowed to eat. The individual serving food was quite abrupt with all those within the waiting area. She strangely wouldn't state what sandwiches she had, and when an individual attempted to move the sandwiches to see the labels she was berated in a very odd experience. I was later discharged after 4-5 hours with no real explanation on my condition, the outcome of the results (presumably not a mild heart attack), and prescribed various drugs without any narrative on why these had been allocated to myself. I departed with still on-going chest pain (non-musuclar) without any real understanding on what had transpired, the outcomes, and what potentially was wrong with me. It was a very odd and
