It was a shocking experience. I work in the NHS and I know that we’re short staffed however, I cannot believe all that I saw during my stay at A&E
Suggested improvements
Ensure that you have enough staff, if you were staffed to capacity then you need more staff.
Ensure that you have enough cups for people to have water. There were no cups so my daughter who accompanied me was given a water jug to drink from.
Vulnerable patients were left alone for long periods of time.
