The nursing staff were not equally attentive and in a lot of cases, it felt like being cattle herded, from one booth to another. This was a hectic clinic, making me more anxious and scared of my situation.
The doctor at the end was lacking in compassion and support, though he did tell me what was what, I felt scared about my operation and treatments.
Suggested improvements
More time for patients - so to ally fears, Not everyone is okay with eye surgery and treatment; a lot of people are very scared or anxious.
Better guidance on the procedures and outlines on any treatment given would help- I was told to take some drops and we will be in touch.
I've never taken eye drops in all my 57 years and I'm very squeamish, plus I don't have anyone to assist me, so it has been a tricky thing; so tips on how would have been nice.
