I was in extreme pain and begged for pain relief which I didn't get for hours. I was taken out of the wheel chair put on a trolley to have x-ray on my lumbar, when I came back I was told I had to get off trolley and sit in one of the low chairs. I couldn't walk or move on my own, but still had to get off the trolley. The chair was so uncomfortable I couldn't sit down for long and had to get up and lean over the arm in pain. No one came to see if I was OK. None of the pain relief prescribed helped. After spending 14 and half hours at the hospital, the doctor told me to go home with the same pain relief that didn't help, telling me I'm not a medical emergency a s letter would be sent to my doctor ti arrange an mri scan. The prescription he provided was incorrect, as according to the pharmacist one of items doesn't come in the strength he prescribed. So basically my experience of Queens hospital was not good and I would never recommend anyone to go there. I have just contacted my doctors surgery and they advised nothing in the notes suggest I should have an MRI scan.
