The good: - We felt extremely well looked after and cared for - Midwifes were really attentive, caring and calming - It was nice to have a combination of experienced and student midwife care - Staff in the hospital were really professional - I was glad to see the level of hygiene being exceptionally high - Staff gave loads of additional support, especially to establish infant feeding Room for improvement: - Reduce number of people running in and out of the hospital room were possible - Batch child / mother examinations where possible - Reduce disturbances from Sodexo staff. There is no need to have somebody come and ask about the food order. A simple paper sheet would suffice to make the meal choices and thereby reduce traffic in and out of patient rooms - The number of different staff obstetricians, pediatricians, nursery nurses, midwifes and general nurses can be overwhelming and due to shift changes it is often hard to recognise the role of different staff. Repeated introductions and role explanations (a booklet/website would do to) could help making this easier to follow for patients
