I have already given positive feedback on the two paramedics from the Ambulance Service (Dave and Laura) who provided excellent care throughout my time with them. I would very much like to echo these feelings with regard to all the hospital personal who attend me on my recent visit. From the staff who originally attended me, tacking blood samples, pressures etc right through to the paramedics who conducted the necessary tests (X Ray, CT Scan, E C G, etc) I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation. Everyone conducted themselves in a caring and professional manner. I understand that my D&vV condition meant that I had to be isolated in the corridor but on each of the test, I was taken to the appropriate area and seen immediately again by personable staff who explained the procedures and conducted them quickly without stressing me. Even a "bit of banter" with the orderly taking me for the tests helps lighten the mood. Special thanks to the Clinician who conducted the final tests and finally released me to go home. She was very caring, explained what was happening and made it all stress fee. Very well done to all.

Suggested improvements
Because of my D & V condition, the ambulance Paramedics had to stay with me in the corridor for approximately five and a half hours ( kept in isolation). I do understand the need to be "providing care" but I was frustrated that I was "tying these valuable people up" all this time and wondered if alternative personnel or facilities to be provided to free them up? Not a criticism, more frustration from an old engineering manager as I understand this happens quite frequently and there may well be financial consequences for this.
