The Dr was great. He was competent and had a great bedside manner. The receptionist at the urgent treatment centre at KGH was rude and unprofessional. He, jumped to wrong conclusions, made wrongful accusations spoke in an inappropriate and unacceptable manner.

Suggested improvements
Make sure that public facing people, especially those facing patients, are courteous at all times and, above all, try to ascertain facts before jumping to conclusions. I did not go to the hospital to be wrongfully accused of jumping the queue and told in an impolite manner and with a raised voice to get to the back of the queue. I had a very painful and profusely bleeding dog bite which required surgery / treatment the next day at Broomsfield hospital. The one person ahead of me had beckoned me to the window as he filled a form. He subsequently argued with me and wasted time when I insisted that I did not want to carry on arguing and needed urgent medical attention. The Dr was brilliant when I eventually got to see him many hours later.
