Friendly, very supportive , perfect easy training, easy to remember it at home. And also after the rehab training there is a very good education programme to help you manage your health. This rehab programme helps you to learn lot of important information which is good for your health.
it is very important and helpful
My Mother was seen within a few minutes of her appointment time and treated with kindness and patience. The doctor explained my Mother's condition clearly and took the time to answer all of our questions fully. We have been lucky in that we have been seen on time for all of our appointments, But I know from the information board that some people may have to wait 30 minutes over their appointment time. The only suggestion I can make is that perhaps a way could be found so all patients are seen nearer their actual appointment time.
Staff consultants, sisters, doctors all work very very hard. They are dedicated to their duties. They approach difficult situations all the time and are very professional. They work very long hours often 12.5 shifts, but always have a smile. Donna, Katie - sisters, Natalie and Jess all deserve recognition for their hard work. Food on Sahara is far better than MRU. The porters and ambulance crew also work hard. Everyone is joined up on holistic care. Special mention to Sian Alexander, register, for 100% full explanations, and total care, to her each patient is very very important, and if she goes over her schedule she still finds extra time to speak direct. Sahara A is run " better" than many private hospitals.
Few places for areas for development, but " quiet" time post 10 pm to 6am, MRU and wards have some " controllable noise, that could be reduced, it's understood some noise is beyond control, but loud voices past 10 pm can. Also all " medical doctor students" should fully introduce themselves as students, and co ordinate visits to ensure not back to back. But they were all very polite.
Nothing.
A and E gets too full because it takes too long from the time you are discharged on a ward to getting medication and discharge papers. My husband has been in twice recently and it takes hours.
Ambulance receiving unit had people just waiting for hours to get to majors once in majors the waiting time and treatment was timely.
The problem is the wards doctors and the system in place.
Communication could be improvement.
Care overnight zero lots of waiting with no idea of plan.
It was OK.
