The nursing staff, HCAs and catering team were lovely and very caring but it was apparent that staffing levels are dreadful especially at weekends. This meant that basic needs were not met i.e help with personal hygiene because the nurse looking after my relative was too busy. There needs to be better communication between Doctors and the patient and the patients family. My relatives overall experience at the QEQM was not a good one.
