Share review of Queen Elizabeth Hospital
All of the staff are caring. They all know what they are doing and are expert at what they do. Being connected to the dialysis machine requires great skill there is not one of them I would want to decline. They are all pleasant and warm-hearted. I feel at times their skills are wasted. When I was abroad the nurses did the skilled work and they had helpers to do the menial tasks. If we face a shortage of nurses management should consider restructuring. You could reduce nurse numbers allocate a cleaner to washing the machines and let your skilled staff focus on the difficult tasks. It may be egalitarian for everybody to carry the rubbish out. Get the cleaner to do it. It would make economic sense.
