I was an in patient for 6 weeks starting in Shouldham ward via the operating theatre and ICU. The care Ireceived was exemplary.Not only on the technical side but even to caring for my indignity when I had uncontrollable incontinence.
I therefore found it inconceivable that I read in the paper that QEH was in special measures. This cannot apply to the oncology department.
I have nothing but praise for QEH which saved my life!
