I have been attending the Eye Day Care Unit for more than 4 years now and have always been impressed by the extremely high standards demonstrated by all staff. These people care! Keith Malcolm is excellent. I have one suggestion to improved the overall process. Attendance times are booked against a series of time slots and there appears to be a pre-set list within each time slot. Some people arrive early and some not so early. If, as I do, you arrive early it appears that your place in the list remains unchanged and those arriving late will retain their position in the list's order. Why not create the order within each time slot by utilising the order of arrival at EDCU reception? That means if you arrive first fir the 08.30 slot, you get to prepared and receive treatment first. If you arrive last, you get to see the doctor last. Using this approach eases the frustration of seeing others arrive 20 minuutes after you and yet they are seen before. I trust I have explained this approach clearly. Thank you.
