Today (06-04-2018), I had my first ever anaesthetic and I was extremely nervous! But with the massive confidence boost from staff they made me feel 100% safe with the procedure. Both anaesthetists, the surgeon and theatre nurse made me feel safe at all time, and the recovery nurses were fantastic! Both anaesthetists, the surgeon and theatre nurse came into see me after I had come around in the recovery room and had a lovely chat with me to reassure me that the surgery went to plan! I cannot fault the staff at the eye theatre department, they were fantastic!! Carys x
