My experience of having knee surgery was excellent. The only fault I could say regarding nursing staff was communication with my wife regarding medication and I was sent home without compression therapy supports which I didn’t receive until my review appointment two weeks later. If I’d had them then I would have not had so much pain at night. The only fault with hospital in general was the food. It was absolutely disgusting, how people are supposed to recover when they’re not having good food I don’t know. If food was cooked from scratch people would be having vitamins and good food to make a quicker recovery. This really needs to be addressed.
