The staff in the ward were absolutely amazing, kind hearted individuals who could not do enough for myself. My partner and our baby girl. No questions were unanswered and as new parents, we were made to feel totally at ease. Thank you so very much for your compassion and all of your advice in potentially the most exciting chapter of our lives beginning.
The care was good and all staff friendly. We had to wait over seven hours due to blood tests etc. (we were of this when we asked what the cause of action would be so it was not a problem - just boring).
1. Our wait could have been improved if the TV reception was improved.
2. The seats had padded armrests. Also, more support on arms for patients nursing/holding children.
3. There was a head support (wines) like on planes, so people that were not well could have a cat NAP.
Since I was first referred from my GP I have received excellent care and consideration. I want to thank you for the work you have put in to trying to resolve my back problems.
Literally could not have asked for better care. Our wishes were respected and we were given the right care at the right time.
I thought that all staff, reception, nurses, porter and doctor were professional articulate and above all very sensitive. I was treated as an individual not a number. I have received exceptional care today. Thank you.
All staff very helpful.
All staff were friendly, helpful and kind. I felt well informed about what was happening to me, particularly in theater. Great breastfeeding support from knowledgeable staff. Overall I felt I was in safe hands and well cared for.
To improve:
Long stay in recovery (9-10 hrs) without a wash or change of pads. Breakfast was awful - day 1 - soggy weetabix in warm milk, day 2 - cold porridge and cold tea.
They took great care of me.
