We thank you for your help and attention but it is quite clear that there are not enough staff at this hospital. The doctors, nurses and HCA are clearly under stress due to lack of staff (particularly notes at the weekend). I was transferred to the ward in the middle of the night and left with no explanation of what was going on - the light was put off and I only found a sheet and blanket in the morning! The individual doctors appeared very attentive and caring but I didn't see the same one twice. I think continuity of care could be improved if possible.
