I think the reception staff are friendly and welcoming, but the gynecologist was very like hurried. Because he wanted to check if tubes were blocked then tried to say if they are is to remove them, and I was like hold on slow down. Too much, as didn't give me time to process the info. So he change in to just to check. To improve - to listen to the patients more in what they are saying and their feelings. Plus maybe leaflets etc.

Response from Peterborough City Hospital

Thank you for your feedback on your recent visit to the women's outpatients department, we are pleased that you were welcomed to the unit in a friendly manner, we are sorry to hear that you felt that you were not given the time to make decisions regarding your care pathways. I will ask the lead for the area to ensure that patient information leaflets are readily available to patients and ask staff to be more considerate when giving information. If you would like to discuss this further please email me on: Theresa.mccarthy@nhs.net ( Matron)
