Exceptional care, like always, when I have to visit ACU. Staff are always friendly, caring and treat me as a person and not a number.
The ACU service seems to be the best department in Peterborough City Hospital.

Not enough doctors walking in the dept. Therefore the wait is very long.
Patients should be given more realistic wait times on arrival. Our wait was twice as long as we were initially told. Only saw 2 doctors on the morning of 4/2/19. Nurses obviously busy not enough seats in WR.

The only negative point of my treatment is that on a couple of occasions when I was given my antibiotics through IV it was very late at night (after 10 pm, and about 12 am), which after running for 1/2 hour then have to wait for it to be removed. I felt extremely tired already and would have preferred if I had been given them earlier in the night.
