I visited the endoscopy unit at Pembury Hospital yesterday for a colonoscopy. I was of course somewhat nervous.
The staff there, particularly Mr Baker, his two assistants (I don’t remember their names) and Ann Keegan who looked after me following the procedure were all absolutely amazing.
They were very friendly, informative, professional, made me feel very relaxed and at ease but most of all a real credit to our NHS.
Well done to ALL of you and thank you again.
If anyone is going to have this procedure for the first time, please do not worry, it is not nearly as bad as one would expect.
Today I gave birth to my second child at Pembury hospital, with care also at Maidstone hospital. I am very happy with the level of care, dedication and compassion shown by everyone we have met during the process. All the Midwives, HCAs and Doctors have been wonderful and made the process of giving birth as smooth as possible. They encouraged and supported me and my husband throughout the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pembury/Maidstone as a place to give birth.
Friendly staff, great care

My sister has so far been here for 5 and a half hours with extremly bad early pregnancy tummy pain. She has been assesed but they dont know what it is! Or has caused this waiting for ultrasound in the queue!!
This is awful service
The good things about my care is how extensive it is with things like maintaining the baby's heart beat and reassuring bumb chart. When my midwife thought the bumb measurements were not as good as they could be, she took immediate action and booked for a scan which all came back clear and gave us reassurance.
Staff very friendly. Thank you!
