Patient treated quickly (was in pain) with catheter problem and procedure successfully carried out to remove catheter.
Appeared to be a lack of understanding of a dementia patient - left on his own - unable to use call bell. Patient needed to have fluids regularly but no one came - I had (wife) to ask and have thickener provided. Supper time only successful because I know he needed pureed food and could give accordingly.
