On the 1st of November I went into the Horder Centre for an elective total hip replacement. The next day I was transferred to The Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Pembury with a racing heart and very low blood pressure. I was very frightened and apprehensive, I didn’t know what was happening to me. From the moment I arrived on the CCU which was past midnight, I was treated with the utmost kindness, tenderness and respect which lasted throughout my stay from every member of the medical staff. This helped to give me complete confidence in my medical treatment. These people are amazing and should be valued and respected for their total dedication working under so much pressure. Without them there would be no NHS. Thank you all.
