Now please let it be known that this review is no reflection on the Surgeon himself but rather the hospital and its staff. Went for a routine procedure earlier this month. Provided no information as to timings, admission, etc etc until 3 days before appointment - even after requesting many times. On arrival welcomes by a nice reception lady, which disappointly followed a very abrupt, stern, clinical admissions clerk. Nurse who was assigned to me was again very stern and would answer my open ended questions with 1 word answers. When I asked about the after operation meal, was told that would be dealt with after the precedure (please bare in mind it was now 6pm and I hadn't eaten all day as per doctors request). When I came out of surgery a new nurse was on duty and when I requested food was told that the kitchen was closed and could only give me a salmon roll. Not good enough!
