So I’ve never ever had surgery before until now, DR Chitsabesan treated me for an umbilical hernia, I was so nervous but all the staff were exceptional and made me feel totally at ease!
The results after are super neat, and by the time it’s healed it will look like I’ve had nothing done!!
I can now go back to work and look after my two kids and enjoy family life again!
I would recommend this hospital 100% I hope to not ever have anymore surgery But if I did I would be back here ! Kelly

Spotlessly clean hospital with very friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble for anyone and I was very well cared for during my overnight stay. My room was more like a premier inn than a hospital for facilities and I would absolutely highly recommend it. The only downside is that after experiencing york Nuffield I wouldn’t want to go back to NHS again!!

I had a 2nd knee replacement on the 21st of January.
I would like to thank everyone involved in my care for both times I was there. From outpatients through to being discharged 2 days after my open operation the treatment was 1st Class.
I had only a short wait both times from referral to being treated, the after care last time helped me recover very quickly and I fully anticipate the same again. For the first time in many years my left knee is pain free, I was very reluctant to have my knees replaced but it’s the best decision I have ever made.

The nursing and theatre team were outstanding.. they ensured I was comfortable and well informed throughout. I felt involved in my care and not just a number

From the start of my consultation to my post operation checkups, this hospital could not have looked after me any better. All the staff before, during and after my operation were exemplary.However a special mention goes to Shaun the nurse who looked after me before and after my operation, his skills to keep you calm and keep you talking were brilliant. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hospital.
