I had a Total Knee Replacement operation on 11 January 2022. I was in hospital for three days. My room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Without fail, staff knocked on my door before entering and were always polite, helpful and supportive. The food was excellent and far better than I have had in NHS hospitals. I had a number of complications following my discharge after three days, none of which were anything to do with the care I had received being faulty in any way. In fact I had to return on about 8 occasions to have my wound examined and re-dressed. This was over several weeks. The after-care I received over this period of visits was excellent and the nurses stuck with me until my wound had completely healed. I saw the same nurses each time and so there was continuity in my care which is very reassuring. My appointments were always promptly on time. In summary, I do not believe I could have had a better experience and I would thoroughly commend this hospital to others.
