I was recently admitted as a day patient to the Nuffield Hospital, Guildford for vascular surgery.
I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness by all staff throughout the day, and would be happy to recommend this hospital to others.
Great facility
I did not feel safe or well looked after. The hospital is not clean enough and the staff do not communicate well.
The staff were welcoming and very kind to me.
My room was clean and comfy.
The contrast between private and NHS service and facilities is very marked (and I will not say a word against the NHS) - in general there feels like there is more time for you in a private hospital.
Generally excellent service and support, let down by lack of attention post op and reluctance to give painkillers, which had been approved by the consultant should pain increase.
My care throughout the hospital was excellent. The out patient staff were welcoming and helpful. If I had to wait, they informed me of the delay.
The pre-assessment was thorough and I felt confident that I had all the information I needed.
The day ward, theatre and recovery staff were all very helpful, friendly but professional.
I am very pleased I had the operation at the Nuffield hospital.
All staff were very courteous & pleasant & I was kept informed of my treatment schedule at all times. My post op treatment was very good & the food (ham & cheese omelette) was excellent.
Wonderful experience being a day patient. Service and care outstanding. Highly recommend.
A totally professional and caring team across all functions of the hospital.
