On the 31 August, I attended a ‘day surgery’ on my inguinal hernia at Nuffield Brentwood Hospital as an NHS patient. The attending surgeon was Mr Jeddy. Mr Jeddy provided clear and focused explanations in a highly professional manner about my injury and the procedures that he was going to initiate at both my preview meeting, and the morning of the surgery. At all times I felt very confident that I was in excellent hands for a successful outcome.
Our follow-up meeting confirmed that the procedure was very successful and that I would be quickly returning to normal activities. I hope that when my ‘knee replacement” surgery is scheduled that I receive comparable level of support and expertise.
