My physio Victoria helped me so much on my road to recuperation after a knee surgery. She displayed her expertise in the way she would explain things clearly and was considerate of how I felt and receptive to my input. She is a testament to the NHS. In terms of the physio itself then I found it very interesting the techniques that have been developed to safely exercise muscles even when mobility is heavily restricted. I developed a deeper respect for the fine work carried out by medical professionals and being a resident of Harrow it's nice to know there is such a competent team in place at Northwick Park. Thanks again to everyone :)
Suggested improvements
I actually preferred doing my physio via video call due to the Coronavirus pandemic but I suppose if I were to make any suggestion, it would be to make at least one face to face appointment optional before discharge. I don't feel like I needed that personally but for someone else it could perhaps be useful.
