Following various tests at NGH I was diagnosed to have an ovarian cyst and had an initial consultation with Mr Gnana Chandram, Gynae Consultant, on 8th March. Having reviewed the various scans, etc he told me that he thought the cyst could be cancerous and that he would make arrangements for an operation to be done as soon as possible to remove it. He then explained in full detail what the operation would entail and the risks involved. At the consultation I found Mr Gnana to be extremely supportive which helped me, and my family, to cope with the situation.
The operation was carried out successfully on 30th March.
I can only praise the skillful treatment that I received throughout - no-one could ask for better. Mr Gnana and his team were wonderful throughout this challenging time.

I had the operation
I was admitted by Mr Gnana Chandram, Gynae Consultant, to have an ovarian cyst removed. The 5 hour operation was carried out on 30th March to remove the cyst which weighed 2 kilos.
