EVeryone involved at North Devan Hospice, from the volunteers drivers, the kitchen staff, the councellers, nurses etc etc etc is wonderful.
So kind, so caring and they make you feel so special.
I love going to the hospice no one judges me or makes me feel different. I feel special.
The comforting/friendly atmosphere.
For all the reasons listed opposite No's 3-8, the care is exceptional and the environment tranquil and bright and positive and for carers it is especially good in meeting their needs being extremely awake that the carer needs care: something sadly lacking on other institutions) that's not to say we class the hospice as an institution - far from it!
As for improvement? hard to say? only on rare ocassion did we wait for something - so perhaps more staff per patient though we are full aware its charitably funded - so must be used efficiently.
The caring nature of all the nurses and understanding, they kept us informed as what was happening. Could not wish for better.
Thank you.
Can't fault the care. Extremely helpful. Polite and considerate.
I really don't think anything needed to be improved. Everybody is so kind and helpful and are always there when you need them.
It was most relaxing peaceful and uplifting.
Have wondered if their could be a pamper day for men?
Massage, feet, hair, hands.
We could not find any faults at all with dad's care it was excellent we had complet confidence in all the staff who were caring and supportive to the whole family.
