The procedure before the operation was excellent - physio and anesthetist-! the operation done by Dr Jacobs itself went extremely well - and I was given an excellent room as I had to spend the night. However there was a lot of unanswered buzzers requesting assistance that continued for a long time ( not from me but from other patients) throughout the night. It seemed staff were busy elsewhere. It felt like staff were stretched. When I was treated by the nurses they were very good and polite. When I was being picked up by my wife in the car she waited over 100 minutes before the staff were free enough to wheelchair me to the car. Despite being told that I was ready to leave before she arrived. Again it seemed that they were short staffed.
