I was listened to. Things were explained to me and questions answered. Even after three and a half years I am learning better ways of managing my stoma care and related health issues. I was treated with respect and didn't feel hurried or under any pressure.

Provide a water container or ask the patient to bring one with them before their appointment as I couldn't reach the sink from the couch to wet wipe my skin.

Tammy is a wonderful stoma nurse, listens and is very helpful, showing me websites to look at, gave me samples of other bags to try, stoma passport, and toilet card. Examined me with care and respect.

Bacause my visit was excellent my nurse in question was all of the above And more, having lost my wife in recent months, i was able to have a small conversation with her about it and she was a great listener and offered help, what more can i ask
