Accident and emergency department requires improvement. After a recent visit, it took 8 hours (following X ray) to get treatment. I understand that it was a busy night with ambulance arrivals at fairly regular intervals BUT, there were no more than 6 patients in the general waiting area alongside me upon arrival and this timescale I find hard to comprehend.
