The standards at this hospital are poor beyond comprehension. After seeing the abysmal diagnosis, 'treatment', 'care' and 'monitoring' of family members who were unfortunate enough to be patients here I can't recommend the MRI to anybody. I'm struggling to find any positives - sorry but I have to be truthful.
The time i spent as a patient in MRI was as pleasant and as comfortable as it could possibly be.
All the staff were polite professional and friendly,even the food was good
Personally i think the NHS is a fantastic organisation and should get all the support it needs
The government need to wake up and realise just what we have in this country
An excellent hospital.
I was seen within 30 minute of my appointed time of which I have no complaint
Excellent hospital I have been a patient several times in the last 6 years
I was looked after professionally and nothing was too much trouble. Sharan explained everything to me that i could understand and i never felt as though i was being rushed in order to get to the next patient. Im due to come back and have another operation and i know im in the safest hands.
The staff on the two wards were excellent and the care they provided was fantastic.
They are a credit to the hospital.
Couldn't fault any of the care received from nursing, medical and therapy from HDU to Specialist surgery to outpatients . I would highly recommend.
Apart from not always being seen on time I am very happy with the experiences I have had when visiting MRI. I attend for CT scans and outpatient appointments on a regular basis. The staff are kind and keep you updated regarding delays which enables you to perhaps go for a coffee or inform relatives of delays.
Although I was well cared for by doctors and nurses I found MRI to be a somewhat mediocre environment:
1. Cleanliness was an issue, especially around the main doors;
2. There was absolutely NO privacy and other patients could hear doctors giving advice and diagnosis. THIS IS MY MAIN COMPLAINT;
2. The high dependency unit, although clean, was so busy at night that sleep was a problem;
3. The domestic staff in both the HDU and the normal ward were not always polite.
