An excellent experience at an excellent hospital. All staff were friendly, helpful and calming when I was worried.

I received good care after my surgery. I did feel that the ward was short staffed, but this did not detract from my care. It was clean and the staff were very kind and friendly.

Neither the sister or the staff considered my anxiety and concern post-operation with symptoms of chest pain. Even when I requested to check my observation for my reassurance. Not great listeners. Some staff showed more care than others.

The regular staff were more willing than agency staff. There was a shortage of staff particularly at night.

I was treated well by all medical staff at the hospital. All the nursing staff were always busy but yet the still made time to see to patients when requested to do so. Surgery staff were excellent, even the food was good I came home feeling that I had been on vacation. james Stephens

Some of the public toilets were dirty and passed the time of cleaning by over 2hrs. Had to wait for 3hrs 15 mins for the pharmacy to send my medication to the ward when I was going home. Must have a better system than this!
