I was referred to the Peggy Wood breast care centre after a routine mammogram. It took only two weeks from the initial mammogram to being seen for a biopsy. I was seen promptly and all aspects of my treatment were excellent.
Above and beyond the perfect medical care I was given was the attitude of the staff. All, even the receptionist, were caring and empathetic. Best of all was the gentle sense of humour they displayed, enough to dispel the anxiety I was feeling. If it wasn’t for the 2 rather large needles used for the biopsies I would say it was an extremely pleasurable two hours.
