I report as a long term resident of The Grange. I fell and broke my neck on 5th October. My advanced bronchiectasis made me unfit for a general anaesthetic. I was given the time and care for my neck to heal naturally. This has taken place without any lasting problems. I have nothing but praise for everyone who cared for me at The Grange. The consultants did give me their time to explain and discuss things thoroughly. They also kept in touch and regularly considered my case with care. I could not have had treatment which was more suited to my needs. Of course there are staff shortages and one may have to wait, but care was always given with skill, patience and compassion. With proper funding and recruitment The Grange would be a great hospital and realise its full potential in caring for the public.
