I was sent to Lister from QE2 urgent care with a suspected heart attack. I am 45 years old!! My Dad died of heart failure aged 55. I wasn’t seen for over 4 hours where I ended up leaving without seeing anyone as no one could tell me when I would be seen and it was so busy that it was making me feel worse! People were throwing up and there were people who had additional needs who were very loud! The lack of basic care was shocking! I was left to sort out someone collecting me from Hatfield with a suspected heart attack. I had driven myself there. The GP just told me to call someone to collect me and just left me after telling me I may be having a heart attack! To be honest I would be dead if I had actually been having a heart attack but no one even cared! The NHS is an absolute shambles and people will sadly lose their lives if this carries on!!
