Went into hospital with an infection from a scratch, when first seen by the nurse was belittled about coming to hospital with a scratch (despite clearly seeing it was badly infected) when was seen by the orthopaedic registrar i was roughly touched on the infected and painful area and was told to stop acting in pain as there was none (though there was a lot of pain) they took an x-ray and concluded i had a major infection (which i have had in the past) and needed emergency operation, this operation was done quickly and confirmed my fears of it being necrotising fasciitis, i was given 3 days of antibiotics and stitched up and sent home, before going home my leg swelled to large to put my trousers on, i asked for something to wear on my bottoms they refused to give me anything and i had to cut my new trousers to wear them, my leg was more swollen than when i came in, in even more pain than when i came in, and the leg was starting to mottled and going dark, not bruised purple but gray to black. after leaving the hospital i went to another hospital right away they had a look at it and took me into theater and was rushed in and was told i almost lost my leg, they didnt get rid of the infection properly and stiched it in which caused me a load more problems.
