I had surgery to remove a meningioma on 28 April. From the pre-op staff checking my details, to the anesthetist who came and explained what she would be doing, to the nurses in the Recovery Ward, to the porters who wheeled my around the corridors, to the catering and cleaning staff and everyone who operated the various bits of bangy, clattery machinery which scanned my brain to the on -call specialist nurse who rang me 3 times after the operation, and is still there for me to ring when I want - everyone could not have been more professional, more caring or more concerned in my well being and recovery. If I have forgotten anyone, or any group of people, forgive me. I was so impressed by their attitude and professionalism. Thank you.
