I was under the care of hyacinth who not only was very knowledgeable and professional also had a kind, caring and compassionate nature. All nurses I saw were lovely.

The care and education I received was first class.
The co-ordination and team worked I witness helped my recovery speed up. The team at Ash ward, thank you all so much. A special mention of gratitude to the diabetic team in Ash ward and all the staff who helped me (bed#19 then #21).
Suggested improvements
The only thing that let you guys down NHS the cleanliness of the toilets and showers.
Cleaners do play a major role and hence I feel they are letting the team (Ash ward) down.

Major issues with cleanliness on the ward, difficult at times to get a drink and sometime you are forgotten but people/staff were kind and polite.
Suggested improvements
Cleaned urine off the toilet floor quicker. Had juice available but overall everyone was caring.

A lot of time was wasted, I felt I had to argue for medication and for doctors to listen, also same of the staff was not attentive and did not seem interested.
Suggested improvements
Communication, use time constructively, staff need to be more patient and respectful.
