In general terms both the nursing and clinical staff were good natured , helpful and kind.
Suggested improvements
I would have been grateful to have received some more detail about regarding my care following discharge.
For example:
On discharge (1/10.23) with a cracked vertebra I was given a support waistcoat (which I was told would probably be required for 12 weeks) and a box of 32 painkillers but no clue about how long the pain might reasonably be expected to last.
Now, (15.10) I am on a second box (2 pills a night) and for most part of each morning (and sometimes for most of the day) it is far from easy to move without difficulty and discomfort. I have no idea whether my experience is normal and, if it is, when thngs might be expected to improve.
Some indication of how things might develop following discharge would have been extremely helpful.

The treatment I received was given in a professional way by a nurse who was well informed & friendly. She explained everything thoroughly including aftercare & follow up treatment. Could not have been a better experience.

Told them I was suicidal, out of anti depressants and wanted to jump in front of a train. They said as my GP was registered in Bromley and I was in another borough they could do nothing.
They have me leaflets about homelessness, none of the phone numbers worked.
They said they would write a letter to my GP which would arrive the next morning. They didn't do it.
They told a suicidal person to sleep outside and sort it out themselves.
Suggested improvements
Just don't bother building a hospital in the first place or taking my taxes.
