Everyone involved in my stay was professional, compassionate and polite without exception. I always felt that my well-being was of importance to the staff, and despite days being under staffed every effect was made to ensure I had everything I needed. My sincere thanks to everyone on the ward.
Suggested improvements
As far as my care was concerned there is not much more I could ask for - considering the amount of work everyone had to cope with each day. I am thankful for the level of care that I was given.

It is the same in every department, having time to do the things like timely catheter removal or at least a discussion about when it will be removed. And when requesting removal of vention, it is better to reply with 'let me check' rather than 'no'!
Also, when changing beds, I know everyone needs to get up but to hurt someone out of bed, swap the sheets and leave them in a chair by an open window with a catheter after an op is a little unfair.
Perhaps some individual consideration is needed when carrying all housekeeping duties.

The care is first class but the waiting for answers seems long.
