When I got to the hospital, I very quickly became lost and as soon as a staff member spotted me flapping in the corridor, she stopped and assisted me to the chest clinic. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a friendly and helpful manner by the receptionist, completed some forms for her and it was next to no time before I was seen. The first nurse was delightful to converse with and I felt comfortable enough to open up to her about some tragic news I’d received that morning. She treated me with such care and compassion, it was exactly what I needed. She then called her colleague in to take my blood sample and between the two of them, the whole process was smooth, efficient and (almost!) painless. I left feeling very grateful for how kind and lovely all the staff were and cannot rate their care highly enough

Suggested improvements
Perhaps look into better systems for storing patient info. It baffles me that all NHS systems don’t link and get updated when a patient moves or changes their contact information
