Although I was treated, there were huge delays. While I understand an A&E department is busy aside from one nurse and a healthcare assistant, all others were unhelpful in keeping me updated. My wife who was with me did seek updates but at all times she was made to feel a nuisance. On one occasion I went to get an update and I was treated poorly by the nurse in charge ( Renata I believe his name was) . While it was later explained to me I was to remain in my isolation room as I had flu, I was brushed off by Renata saying I had to go back to my room and not come out. He told me he would come to see me. Needless to say he did not come to see me. I was very well treated by the two nurses who saw me initially (a Filipino lady whose name I did not get and an Irish male nurse, Kieran I believe). I was also very well treated by a health care assistant who took observations from me over the 10 hours or so I was in A&E. Unfortunately I don't remember his name.
