Kings & Queens Hospitals. Kingfisher Ward. Miss Verona Beckles and her team performed a Carpal Tunnel Release on my wrist on 22nd July 20. I first see Miss Beckles at Queens but had my operation at Kings. From the minute I arrived the staff put me at ease. I was taken to Kingfisher Ward where the staff were so lovely,so friendly and helpful..Miss Beckles came to see me before the operation to put my mind at rest. I was taken to theatre on time and the whole team,I’m sorry I can’t remember all the names, were so so calming. Aaron was telling me about his woodwork hobby, taking my mind off what was happening. Miss Beckles was talking to me throughout the operation. She was amazing as were her team. I never felt a thing during the operation. And I never had hardly any pain or discomfort afterwards either.. my stitches were taken out, and are all healed up now. The scar is amazing it won’t even show, what a fantastic surgeon. She was also assisted by another surgeon whom she was training. I am currently doing my exercises 4 times a day. I have full movement in my hand and no pain. Thank you very much Miss Verona Beckles for doing such a wonderful operation and all your team of course.. I look forward to seeing you at my follow up appointment. Thank you very much everyone in Kingfisher Ward you were amazing. Kind Regards Glenda Riches
